The date of the 2011 Monster Energy Motocross of Nations has been officially modified, announced by the FIM this morning.

The event will be held on the weekend of 18 September, which is one week before of what it was previously announced, in Saint Jean d’Angely, France.

Team USA is the defending champion of the MXoN, with Team Australia’s Brett Metcalfe, Jay Marmont and Dean Ferris scoring sixth in Denver, Colorado, at the 2010 event.
