Ford Dale will use number 20 to round out the Super X season in tribute to Harley Quinlan.

Queenslander Ford Dale will trade his customary number 41 in for Harley Quinlan’s number 20 at the final two rounds of the Monster Energy Super X, Australasian Supercross Championship.

Quinlan was suffered a tragic spinal injury in a training crash earlier this month, with Dale paying tribute to one of his best mates at the Sydney and Brisbane rounds of the series.

“I’m using Harley’s number tonight and in Brisbane, so hopefully I can do good and honour him with his number,” Serco Yamaha’s Dale commented.

Dale is on the verge of a good results after breaking through for his first race win of the season in Auckland a fortnight ago, and he’s confident he has what it takes to make that next step tonight.

Following the first five rounds of the series, Dale currently sits seventh in the Lites points standings.
