Honda Australia has available an opportunity for a trainee to join the Motorcycles Sales team.

Honda Australia, a subsidiary of Honda Motor Company, imports and distributes an extensive range of Motorcycles throughout Australia. Honda Motorcycles occupy the leading position within Australia’s Motorcycle industry.

Reporting to the assistant national sales manager motorcycles, the successful candidate will be responsible for the day to day shipping/purchasing activities and assisting the Sales Support team with some aspects of Dealer Network activities.

Major responsibilities will include the maintenance of communication channels with all suppliers; the tracking and tracing of incoming shipment and participating in monthly inventory planning meetings to forecast sales and production.

Other areas of responsibility include assisting the National Dealer Network with stock availability, processing of orders, advising ETA’s on backordered units and other general enquires.

The incumbent will be responsible for maintaining the administration of all purchasing and shipping documentation, including processing of rebate invoices.

To be successful in this role, you will possess excellent communication skills and an ability to effectively communicate with a diverse range of suppliers and internal networks. A VCE qualification or equivalent is also required.

An intermediate level of proficiency in Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel, is essential.
