The City of Greater Geelong, Surf Coast Shire and RoadSafe Barwon, in conjunction with Honda Australia Rider Training (HART), are presenting a unique training course for experienced motorcyclists who are looking to gain advanced road riding skills.
The full day course will be conducted at the Australian Automotive Research Centre facility in Wensleydale, Victoria, located near Anglesea off the Great Ocean Road from 8:30am to 4:00pm on Sunday 14 November.
Sponsors are heavily subsidising the course, so the cost per person has been capped at just $150 including lunch. This is almost 50 percent off usual price.
The ‘Advanced 1’ course focuses on risk management and has been designed for motorcyclists who are currently riding regularly. The course incorporates counter steering, corner braking, throttle control, low speed handling skills, observation and anticipation techniques, road positioning, posture and much more.
These skills are addressed via discussion, demonstration, practice and feedback during group practice.
HART prides itself on offering personalised attention, and will be providing one instructor for every six students who enrol for the Anglesea course.
Space is limited and riders of all makes and models are welcome.
Bookings can be made by phoning (03) 9270 1377.
HART has long been considered the pre-eminent provider of rider training and licensing in Australia. Highly qualified instructors deliver state-of-the-art teaching methods to over 20,000 riders each year nationally.
