Australian David Johnson has joined the Two Brothers Racing (TBR) Kawasaki team in the British Superbike Championship for the remainder of the season, the team set to debut in the Evo class from the next round at Cadwell Park.

Johnson currently lies fourth in the overall Evo standings after the opening three rounds and now TBR has become a title sponsor for the team with the one-man squad running a Kawasaki ZX10R.

“I am stoked to be riding for Two Brothers Racing, the guys there have gone out of their way to get the bike prepared and ready for Cadwell Park and it’s such an awesome name to be supported by and associated with,” Johnson commented. “I am currently fourth in the Evo standings but there is more to come and there is so little between us that anything can happen.”

The next round of the MCE Insurance British Superbike Championship is at Cadwell Park on 21-23 May
