The Track Day Pro team has announced a partnership with Gas Imports for the supply of Michelin tyres for all team riders in the 2010 season.

The team, in its first year of operation, is looking forward to using the Michelin brand, which has a rich history on the racetrack and the road.

The broad range of sizes and compounds in the Power ONE range will ensure the perfect tyre for each rider and their particular riding style is available.

Recent testing has shown the Power ONE to be an extremely competent tyre, with exceptional side grip and rider feedback.

“I’m excited to be moving to the Michelin brand! Michelin have always had cutting edge technology, derived from many years of development on the racetrack, and the Power ONE looks to be no different,” commented team rider Craig McDonald. “I am looking forward to testing the various compounds and sizes available to see what I personally can do with them.”

The team will have its first outing on the Michelin Power One tyres at the Phillip Island Circuit on 22 March.
