Organisers of the Australian Motorcycle Expo, Australian Personal Watercraft Show & Australian Scooter Festival on the Gold Coast are set to build upon a very successful first showing with an even bigger range of exhibitors and features at the 2010 event to be held from 19-21 February.

Last year’s event attracted over 22,000 visitors from all over the country and this year is expected to be bigger yet, taking its place as the largest exhibition to be held at the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre.

“It was great to see people from all over the country making their way to the Gold Coast for a great weekend of motorcycle, scooter and jetski entertainment,” said Event Manager Mark Petersen.

“As well as providing enthusiasts the chance to check out the newest and most exciting products, it also gives the local area a boost with thousands visiting the region each day.”

Exciting new models and range updates from the major manufacturers will make for the most comprehensive two-wheel showroom in the country for those in the market for their first bike, PWC or scooter, or simply looking to upgrade.

Aftermarket products, apparel and related services from close to 100 exhibitors will compliment the display of over 10,000 square metres.

“If you’re in the market for a new motorcycle, scooter, ATV, chopper or jetski, there is expected to be great show specials from many of the major manufacturers,” he continued.

Live action demonstrations will add to the excitement, included as part of the ticket price.

Two-wheel enthusiasts can catch shows from the country’s leading freestyle motocross and mini bike riders while PWC fans will delight in seeing an amazing display of freestyle action from riders on stand-up jet skis.

The Australian Freeride Surf Championship will be held in conjunction with the event, with up to 20 of the world’s leading jetski riders doing battle at Main Beach. Winners will be announced in a special presentation at the Australian Motorcycle Expo Gold Coast on Saturday February 20.
