The Australian Formula Xtreme Championship run by Australian Road & Track Rider Promotions (ARTRP) has announced that it has secured the services of Robert Madden to be the series steward for the running of the AASA-sanctioned 2010 series, along with the Australasian FX Superbike Championship.
According to an official press release from ARTRP, Madden, a former general manager of Motorcycling New South Wales, “took MNSW from a start up company with no funds and no staff after the demise of the ACU through to become the wealthiest and best-run state controlling body in the country at the time of his retirement two years ago”.
“I have learnt many things over the last fifteen years of being a race promoter and event organiser,” explained ARTRP’s Terry O’Neill. “One of the most important is having good reliable people to work with you in the running of your events and Rob is one of those good people. We have been lucky in attracting a number of key officials over the last twelve months and Rob adds to the excellent list of top notch people.”
The televised AFXC series commences on 27-28 March at Wakefield Park in New South Wales.
