Defending MotoGP World Champion Valentino Rossi will test a Formula One car once again at Barcelona in Spain this week, getting behind the wheel in a 2009 model Ferrari.
The test will mark Rossi’s return to the cockpit of a F1 car in over a year, recently taking part in sportscar testing and F1 simulation sessions in order to familiarise himself with four-wheels again.
Rossi has also been in the news of late after he was hospitalised with an inflamed appendix, treated briefly and discharged without requiring surgery after experiencing stomach plains.
The nine-time world champion will next return to MotoGP action at Sepang in Malaysia next month, returning with Yamaha to challenge for his 10th world title.
