Stoner hits the slopes at Wrooom in Italy this week.

Ducati’s annual Wrooom Press Ski Meeting 2010 has officially opened to launch the Ducati Marlboro Team of Australian Casey Stoner and Nicky Hayden.

In a week that traditionally combines spectacle, sport and meetings with the international press in Madonna di Campiglio’s Dolomites, offering the press the opportunity to ski with the MotoGP World Championship stars in the lead-up to the launch of the 2010 model Desmosedici GP10 contender.

Events will get underway today, featuring press conferences with the two Ducati Marlboro Team riders Stoner and Hayden to commence the proceedings.

On Wednesday it will be the turn of Claudio Domenicali, general manager of Ducati Motor Holding, while another key moment will be the official presentation of the Ducati Desmosedici GP 10.

The week, that also includes events dedicated to the Scuderia Ferrari Marlboro Formula One team, will conclude on Friday.
