KAWASAKI RACING TEAM:

Kawasaki Racing Team rider Craig Anderson showed good speed at the 6th round of the Monster Energy SuperX Championship at Hamilton New Zealand on Sat 21 November. Craig won a holeshot and went on to finish the round inside the top ten. Craig finished the round in 7th place and advances further up the Championship leader board into 7th place.

With no Lites racing counting on the overall points count at NZ, KX250F rider Luke Arbon stayed home to train while Open rider Craig Anderson made the trek across the Tasman to compete at the 6th round of the SuperX series. With the round of racing consisting of a four race quad challenge, Craig needed to be consistent throughout all four races to gain as many points as possible. Consistent he was, gaining top ten finishes throughout all four races.

Craig showed good speed on board the KX450F throughout the round, fighting for 1st place in the early stages of the first moto and winning the holeshot in the second. Craig’s 8-7-6-8 results gave him 7th for the day and advances him further up the Championship leader board into 7th place.

KRT Manager Brett Whale says, “Ando showed some good speed to win a holeshot and it’s good news that he’s moved up a position in the Championship. We’ll try to improve further at the final round.”

Both Craig Anderson and Luke Arbon will be putting in many hours on the practise track over the next two weeks to be as ready as possible heading into the 7th and final round of the Monster Energy SuperX Championship at Brisbane on Saturday 5 December.
