LEIGH-SMITH RACING:

Current Australian 125cc GP Champion, Blake Leigh-Smith, from Queensland has  received a wildcard entry in the Malaysian 125cc GP to be held at Sepang on October 25th, 2009.

Blake will join the Molenaar De Graaf World 125 GP team  as a team mate for Danny Webb (UK) and Randy Krumenacher (SWI) and ride an Aprilia 125 machine in the event.

Blake is currently racing in the Spanish 125cc Championships at Catalunya in Barcelona, Spain with the De Graaf team and flies back during the week to  join his family at Phillip Island to give moral support to his brother Jackson, who is racing in the Australian Supersport Championships run in conjunction with the MotoGP.

Blake will return to Spain after the Malaysian event for the final rounds of  the Spanish Championships before returning to Australia to defend his  current title and contest the final rounds of the Australian 125cc GP  Championships, in which he holds the slenderest of leads following a low scoring round at Mallala in South Australia in late August.
