As the InsureMyRide Australian Superbike Open approaches this weekend at Phillip Island as part the L&H500 V8 Supercar event, ASBK promoters International Entertainment Group (IEG) are pleased to announce Rockstar Enery Drinks as the naming rights sponsor for the Qualifying and Superpole elements of this weekend’s racing.

Yarrive Konsky, IEG Director says that “…it’s fantastic to have Rockstar Energy Drinks on board with our category, we believe that our racing is a perfect vehicle to promote their product. Our riders will have cans of Rockstar on the podium this weekend and it won’t just be for show!”

The InsureMyRide Australian Open format consists of two races on the Saturday and Sunday, with Practice and Qualifying on Friday ahead of ther Rockstar Energy Drinks Superpole on Saturday. The top eight riders from Friday’s Qualifying session will go out one at a time, from eigth to first until we have a final grid established. The winner will take the Rockstar Energy Drinks pole award and with it race favouritism for the two ten lap races.
