Entries are open for the 2009 Oceania Motocross Teams Championship, set to take place at the A.C.T. Motor Cycle Club, Fairbairn Park on 29-30 August.
Entries close 14 August 2009 and forms and Supplementary Regulations are available from both the Motorcycling Australia and A.C.T. Motor Cycle Club websites www.ma.org.au and www.actmcc.com.au.

For the first time ever, the event will be held at Australia’s Capital City, with Australian, New Zealand, and foreign Pro, Intermediate, Clubman, Women, and Junior riders invited to enter.
Of the 10 classes available the following five are considered Championship classes and have a massive $18,600 prize pool up for grabs: Pro Open, Pro Lites, Under 19’s, Senior Women’s Lites, and Junior Lites.
The remaining classes: Intermediate Open, Intermediate Lite, Clubman Open, Clubman Lite and Junior 12 to under 16 85cc-150cc, will be run as support classes with a $7,500 prize pool.
Of the riders in the Championship classes, MA and Motorcycling New Zealand (MNZ) will select 10 riders each for their national teams, whose points will accumulate towards the 2009 Oceania Motocross Teams Championship Trophy.
The two day program will feature National Championship race formats, exciting one-on-one Team Shootouts and the epic ‘Kum-a-gutsa’ format for the Grand Final; with two 15 minute back-to-back motos for the top 13 riders in each of the Pro Opens, Pro Lites and Under 19’s classes and one wildcard rider.
