Former Australian Superbike and Supersport Champion Adam ‘Krusty’ Fergusson will test a Ducati 1098R at Eastern Creek tomorrow, taking part in the official team’s test alongside the factory Yamaha, Suzuki and Kawasaki efforts.
The test will mark Fergusson’s return to the ASBK series for the first time since he was injured in a testing crash at Symmons Plains in Tasmania back in 2007, and there’s a chance that he could line up on the grid at the fourth round of the series at Eastern Creek on 7-9 August.
Fergusson will be riding the Ducati of ex-privateer runner Michael Fraser at the test, excited at the prospect of being back on a race bike after a lengthy layoff and it will also be the Victorian’s first time on a race-prepared Ducati.
Check back to MotoOnline.com.au tomorrow afternoon for a full report from the test.
