Applications are closing soon for any Australian riders wishing to apply to ride as a Wildcard in the 125GP and 250GP classes at the 2009 Australian Motorcycle Grand Prix (AMGP) at Phillip Island.
The Fédération Internationale de Motocyclisme (FIM) has allocated Motorcycling Australia three Wildcard spots in each of the classes, and any interested riders should complete the application form which can be downloaded from: www.ma.org.au/wildcardapp

Depending on the applications received, MA may also put forward a further two nominations to the FIM, to receive one of two additional FIM Wildcard positions available in each class.
The 2009 AMGP takes place from 15-18 October, and provides a fantastic opportunity for some of our best riding talent to perform on the World stage at Australia’s biggest motorcycle event on the calendar.
Wildcard applications close at COB on Friday10 July 2009, and completed forms should be sent to:
