Leigh-Smith Racing:

Gold Coast based 125cc GP rider, Blake Leigh-Smith has been seriously injured in a race incident at Sachsenring racetrack in Germany overnight. He was airlifted from the track and is in an induced coma, after his condition was stabilised in a German hospital.

Details are sketchy at present, but it seems that Blake hit the bike of a rider who fell in front of him during the running of the German IDM 125cc GP event, with the major injury being to his lungs.
