Fluid PR press release:
Exhibitions and Trade Fairs (ETF), organisers of Australia’s largest motorcycle industry exhibitions are pleased to announce dates and venues for the next exciting instalment of events.
Maintaining the momentum of an exceptionally successful event in 2008, the Sydney Motorcycle Show will return to Sydney Olympic Park from the 20th to the 22nd of November, 2009.
The flagship event, attended by over 28,000 enthusiasts every year, will utilise the venue’s world-class facilities, including a spectator-friendly indoor exhibition space and surrounding courtyard areas.
A lineup of exciting show features, special guests and Action Arena entertainment is currently being compiled and will be released closer to the event date, with some of Australia’s most talented motorcycle racers set to be a part.
The next event on the calendar will be the Australian Motorcycle Expo Gold Coast, returning to the Gold Coast Convention and Exhibition Centre from the 19th to the 21st of February, 2010.
This highly successful exhibition was embraced by visitors and exhibitors alike in its inaugural year, exceeding all expectations and cementing itself as Queensland’s premier motorcycle event.
The Australian Personal WaterCraft Show and Australian Scooter Festival will again run alongside the Gold Coast event, with a range of new features planned.
The Australian Motorcycle Expo Melbourne will return in November 2010 to the Melbourne Exhibition and Convention Centre, with the event likely to be held on alternate years to the Sydney Motorcycle Show.
While the Australian Motorcycle Expo Melbourne will not be held in 2009, enthusiasts will still have the chance to check out a range of moto exhibitors at the National 4×4, Off Road, Fishing and Outdoors Expo.
The refurbished Melbourne Showgrounds will host the event from the 4th to the 6th of September.
Amongst a host of exciting features is the return of the popular Stadium Enduro X event taking place within the main arena plus the return of the huge motorcycle apparel clearance sale.
Event Manager Mark Petersen encouraged new and potential exhibitors to secure spaces early to the Sydney and Gold Coast events.
“As well as manufacturers and distributors, the exhibitions offer a unique opportunity to product and service exhibitors to connect directly with their customers, showcase what they have to offer and gain valuable feedback,” said Petersen.
“Defying the trend, crowds flocked through the doors in Sydney and on the Gold Coast, reflecting the popularity and practicality of two wheels in today’s climate.
“We’re looking forward to returning to world-class venues and bringing to the public the biggest and best that motorcycling has to offer.”
A host of new and existing show features will enthral visitors over three big days at each event.
The East Coast Custom Australian Custom Bike Championships will return, with a national winner to be determined from entries at the Sydney and Gold Coast events.
An exciting major prize has been confirmed, with entry open to all visitors. Up for grabs is a custom chopper, valued at an incredible $40,000, with thanks to Custom Central. Entry forms will also be available at a number of industry events including MotorEx, MotoGP, Gold Coast Bike Week plus more.
